However, during these holidays I had the chance to go to the movies twice, knowing the lack of good titles, I settled for these two films:
I must admit, I came into the room not expecting anything from this new film by Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo and it is perhaps for this reason that made me laugh and all in all I liked it. Because let's face it, go in the room during the Christmas period, at least in Italy, is a continuous sussegguirsi di film pessimi e scadenti (chi ha detto cinepanettoni?). Almeno con Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo c'è una trama, seppur in certi casi un po' forzata o già vista, ma che funziona e segue un filo logico. Poi che ci fossero ammiccamenti molto evidenti al Grande Lebowski o a qualche altra pellicola americana (che non cito per non rovinare la visione) poco male. Le gag sono quelle collaudate e riviste, ma tranne qualche forzatura eccessiva funzionano ancora. Insomma se, come nel mio caso, nell'unica sala della propria città proiettano "La banda dei babbi natale" e si ha voglia di vedersi un film che strappa qualche risata e rilassa, allora questa è la scelta giusta. Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo riescono a far ridere senza culi, tette e volgarità a profusione.
Eguagliare Tron sarebbe stato impossibile, una pellicola tanto avveniristica e dagli effetti speciali, per l'epoca, incredibili. Oggi realizzare Tron com'era stato pensato è molto più facile e quello che mi stupisce è che il 3D che tanto avrebbe giovato in questa pellicola è praticamente in secondo piano. La prima mezz'ora di film è totalmente 2D mentre il resto non spicca per effetti incredibili, allora continuo a domandarmi: faceva schifo la sala oppure mettere 3D serve solo a spillare alcuni euro in più allo spettatore? (propendo per la seconda). In ogni caso Tron Legacy è visivamente molto bello e la colonna sonora è azzeccatissima (compreso the cameo of the duo Daft Punk), the story has good points but lost the freshness of its predecessor.
