Causa esami ho rimandato fino ad oggi la stesura di questo post relativo a " Coraline e la porta magica " diretto da Henry Selick and based on the novel by Neil Gaiman , although I enjoyed both the June 29 last year.
Enjoyed it is the right word, because this time there is an offer too tempting homegrown halls (except for some blockbuster or with very few exceptions) and because I really appreciated this film. The reasons will be clarified in the usual brief comment:
Coraline and the magic door is a simple story that sees the protagonist a girl is often not heard or understood by parents, which makes it similar to a situation that happens often among the least free of certain attention to the commitments of adults, and is so you enter a world of fantasy as often happens in real life. The imagery comes to life on screen and, thanks to the mixture of colors, perfect stop-motion and 3D, is able to thrill not only children but a wide range of clients attracted by the trust to the great reputation of Selick's "The Nightmare Before Christmas, "in this case well rewarded. If the stop-motion technique that has been a large step in the cinema, is combined with the 3D with such skill and mastery, we are faced with a product that boasts a large invoice of beautiful animation for a movie like this, and beautiful colors. Just the colors are offered in Coraline, in almost every scene, with a broad palette of colors, joy to the eyes. The Wizard of stop motion, Henry Selick, delights us with a story from the novel by Neil Gaiman, who manages to enchant, amuse and excite.
Well, I highly recommend watching .. though I doubt it is still around: (
And now I'm curious to see "9" by Shane Acker , produced by Tim Burton that he must have really appreciated the short film of the same name Acker's (available on youtube).
Enjoy and au revoir!
