Amazon.it, sda and the epic story of a bell-dvd.
November 24, 2010 (if I remember correctly), opens the Italian branch of Amazon . News that definitely made the happiness of those who usually buy online, including me, especially seeing the prices for the launch of new website: -30% on books, discounts on DVDs, electronics and so on. etc..
short, a godsend.
As a lover of reading and of Joe R. Lansdale take this opportunity to order two books discounted, sold out and they'll be back on amazon.it available after the fateful December 25, not bad I say so much so that I have a lot 'of stuff behind me, and meanwhile to read them block at this price. Also take advantage of the prices of blank DVDs (which are always handy) verbatim, lightscribe a bell of 25 pieces at 6.25 (in retrospect I would have taken 2, are now sold out and removed from the catalog). However, the bell part of December 4 and I climb solamente il costo di questo prodotto con spedizione gratuita perchè avevo raggiunto la somma di 19 euro (minimo per ottenerla) contando i 2 libri. Bene dico io, non mi trattengono nemmeno i soldi dei libri che non sono disponibili! Fin qui insomma, amazon si stava dimostrando il colosso dell'e-commerce che tutti conoscono.
Purtroppo però iniziano le prime stranezze: i dvd partono da un posto chiamato Bad Hersfeld, in Germania. La cosa mi suona strana e mi rendo conto che fisicamente amazon.it non ha un magazzino, insomma spedisce dall'estero (geniale!).
Ma questo sarebbe una cosa da poco, visto che comunque la spedizione è garantita in 3-5 giorni, il vero problema è la scelta del corriere: SDA, flagello dei servizi Shipping and poor buyers who expect their products.

few hours after the tracking marks which is again in transit, on the amazon site reports the following message (which will then be repeated several times) - Possible delay in delivery due to the organization of an additional courier

amazon.it So I decided to contact by e-mail indicating the delay (on site was guaranteed delivery by December 13, playing on various holidays etc.). the response was immediate and in the evening too I get an email full of excuses and I guarantee that there will be an investigation with the carrier to understand why does not arrive. On December 14
over again and then in transit (on amazon and always that message "Possible Delay in delivery due to the organization of an additional courier")
At this point, despite my endless patience to phone 'sda (paying of course, because as well as make you wait days to bring the package if you need to contact you even pay!). The receptionist says it will send a reminder to return the package (note the lapsus freudiano) e dopo la mia correzione "a Consegnare vorrà dire" si scusa dicendo che è abituata ormai a prenotare riconsegne(wow, un servizio coi fiocchi, che conosco fin troppo bene purtroppo).
Il 15 Dicembre in consegna e in transito, solita storia insomma.
Poi ricevo una telefonata al cellulare dall'sda che si scusa del ritardo affermando che il problema affligge tutta la Sardegna e mi garantisce che domani sarà in consegna, pare che amazon li abbia contattati.
Insomma vedremo domani, intanto oggi dovrebbe (e faccio gli scongiuri) arrivarmi un pacco da lafeltrinelli.it inviato tramite corriere bartolini, partito lunedì e puntualmente in consegna dopo 2 giorni.
Cara amazon, nonostante l'ottimo servizio clienti dovresti pensar bene a quale corriere appoggiarti per l'Italia, capisco che il .it sia appena nato ma se queste son le premesse.. Ovviamente non tutti hanno la sfiga che sto avendo io, ma vabbè..
Io Intanto continuo ad immaginarmi questi corrieri che si passano questo minuscolo pacchetto (avete presente quanto è grande una campana da 25 di dvd?) e lo posizionano nel proprio camion per poi toglierlo e passarlo ad un altro, bisogna fare economia di spazi..

Update del 16/12/2010 ore 16: Il pacco da amazon è arrivato, era ora! La telefonata ricevuta dall'assistenza sda dunque was true. Yesterday came the lafeltrinelli.it shipment on time and as expected, the Bartolini Courier proved much better, learn sda ..
And in all this chaos from various packages I was forgetting to renew the license, and luckily I renewed in extremis: ° D
